A Feel Better for a Blustery Day

Just because..... Found while flipping through on an editing spree...Something about these photos made me think, "Ah, winter's not so bad."  I took these a few weeks ago during a streak of warm (-7 C or so) because chickens and hoar frost make for some pretty pictures.  Who would ever think it would be so?  And now that there's a strong, blasting wind coming down straight from the north, swirling the snow up high and driving the windchills down to unreasonable levels, these images actually make me feel warm and cozy.  That's some perspective, hey?  Anyway, I think these ladies look pretty damn pretty.
